Lavendale Country Retreat welcomes adult groups for retreats of all kinds plus corporate bookings for workers in the area, or Corporate Training and Retreats. Families and couples are welcome but please note  there are no animals currently on site. This, however, will change shortly as we start to restock the farm.
We have 56ha of gently sloping land on the banks of the Avon River 10 mins drive south of York in the beautiful Avon Valley in Western Australia. Accommodation is in self contained 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages including a fully wheelchair accessible unit. Two of our units can be booked together to give a 5 bedroom complex with 2 kitchens, living areas and bathrooms, plus an additional toilet.  

Each of our cottages has their own outdoor eating area with BBQ. Each has its own theme so they are all different but all have well setup kitchens, large living and dining areas and full bathrooms. We have enclosed wood fires in winter in some of the cottages with evaporative air-conditioning in summer. Some units have split cycle air-conditioning. TVs with DVD players, DVD’s and books are in each cottage. We have a large Work  Room “The Community Room” Especially set up for craft retreats and sewing retreats, and a smaller meeting room between two of our units which can be used for smaller groups.

There is plenty to do on the farm, but our main aim is for our guests to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city.  Enjoy wonderful walks along the river bank or sandalwood plantation, or simply relax and enjoy the peace of the country. With clear skies the star show at night is spectacular.
