The Community Room/Dining Room
Lavendale Farm can accommodate up to 46 people over 33 beds in 18 bedrooms over our 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages. Part of this development is the creation of 2 large rooms for meeting or dining. A fantastic setup for Corporate Retreats, Church Camps, Family Reunions, Craft & Sewing Retreats or events for up to 46 people. Let us help you find the most comfortable way to accommodate your members in our self contained cottages and units.
Our “Community Room” is part of a large complex completed in March 2016. The room itself is approximately 65 square metres in size and can comfortable seat 46 people for dining. However, we know our craft groups prefer to spread out at the work tables. This room can hold up to 23 trestle tables, all with office chairs for your comfort. There is a commercial kitchen and unisex, wheelchair accessible powder room. The Patio attached to this room overlooks the farm. There is enough room for all your members or guests to sit outside and enjoy alfresco dining and be sheltered from sun and rain.
Craft Retreats, Sewing Retreats, Church Camps, Tour Group Dining and so much more.
We can set up this room to accommodate both work tables and dining. The patio makes a great break out area for alfresco dining.
Please ask us for our cleaning fee rates and equipment hire. We can also cater for you ourselves. An ideal combination for Craft and Sewing retreats is self catering breakfast, A grazing table for lunch and 2 course dinner provided by your hosts at Lavendale Farm.
The Common Room
The “Common Room” is situated between two of our units, The Lodge and Kirribilli. These two units alone can sleep 14 people over 13 individual beds. An additional powder room is available from The Common Room.
This has been very popular for large family gatherings and for smaller craft and sewing retreats. It makes a great work room for school visits too. The room can comfortably seat 25 people in conference layout, but can accommodate more in different settings. If we organise meals for you, these can be taken in a dedicated guest dining room in our Residence.
