Wow! What a change from our daily routine of endless household chores and constant driving, into a new world of peace and nature…….. Well, our children feel something that clicks here. They find that they can survive and enjoy a new world without computer games. Was that what God originally intended – back to nature with abundanace of renewable resources – a whole new world of peace and serenity – a viable alternative way of life.

Thank you so much and have a fruitful year. 2012

What a wonderful place and what wonderful people you are Katherine & Merv.

Thank you for making our stay so special. We loved being involved with the animals – and learnt a lot too! The cottage is beautiful – clean and cosy and the little extras such as the dusk candle, soap on tap and tissues were very welcoming!

Thank you for the delicious fresh bread and eggs. We loved the camp fire, toasted marsh mallows and the fact that you get the kids involved. Our 3 year old son loved holding the chick! Lavendnale Farm exceeded our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Thank you Farmer Katherine and Farmer Merv for a wonderful stay at Lavendale.

You never realy know what to expect when selecting accommodation on-line. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Bali Hai was so clean, immaculately presented and very welcoming. The boys loved, loved, loved the playground (as you saw as early as 6:15am!). A nice stroll along the river was fantiastic and finding all the little “critters” (birds, frog etc. etc.) in the garden was a highlight. Feed time at the farm was lots of fun and very informative – can’t believe the boys actually tried the snowpeas!

Your hospitality was second to mone. The only problem – we don’t want to go home.

Thanks for a great time – see you for longer next time.

Thank you for your hospitality and welcome. We love the cottage and the farm atmosphere on such a beautiful day. Unfortunately our stay in the West does not permit a longer stay at Lavendale Farm, but will always remember it. I’d love to bring our granschildren sometime – they’d love it too. Thankyou too for the yummy loaf and eggs. A real treat.
