“Valencia” – Solar Powered Self Contained Cottage is a Mediterranean style house with two bedrooms, an elegant bathroom with long bath and separate shower, and a huge living area. We have TV, DVD player and board games, puzzles and books. An enclosed wood fire will keep you warm in winter. There is an attractive patio with outdoor setting and BBQ. One room has a huge French provincial queen size bed and the other room has sleeping for three. We have cots and high chairs available
Our cottages have electricity provided by our solar power generating unit. They have their own rain water tanks and have gas hot water services and cook tops. We have microwave ovens, toasters, stove top kettle and lots of pots and pans and crockery, as well as a wash-house.
An area of approximately 3ha between the Sandalwood Plantation and the Farm house is an area we refer to as “Nut Farm”. It is in this area that “Aussie Bush”, "Valencia” and "Bali Hai" have been built, along with the Solar shed housing the solar system and activity room.
One more cottage is planned for this area. The site contains an area of remnant trees referred to as “Mini Forest”. Each of the cottages have a garden surrounding it, and have been decorated in a theme. Water for the “Nut Farm” and gardens is provided by on-site bore run by solar power. The “Nut Farm” consists of macadamia, pecan, pistachio, olive, and chestnut trees.
